Features:  There are many varieties of sedum found in gardens but this is the only one native to northern Illinois. It is a delightful spring-blooming little plant that deserves more use. In the wild it grows along woodland edges and river banks. Pollinated by native bees. Protect from full afternoon sun.

Light: Partial sun to partial shade 

Soil: Medium, ideally with decaying leaf matter

Height: 3 to 6 inches

Blooms: April to May
