Also called Lance-leaved Coreopsis
Features: This has more showy flowers than Prairie Coreopsis and likes it even drier. Attracts short and long-tongued bees, butterflies, moths and beetles. Host plant for several moths. Deer and rabbits may browse the foliage. In optimum conditions, it can spread aggressively.

Soil: Dry to Medium, loves sandy/rocky soil
Height: 2 feet
Blooms: May to July (dead-heading prolongs bloom time)
