Features:  The fringed white flowers of this woodland plant are open from dusk till dawn but close in the bright daylight. They are pollinated by moths and sometimes bumblebees. It supports the caterpillars of a rare Noctuid Moth and other insects. It tolerates drought, and shallow or dry soils.

Light: Partial shade--not full sun or the foliage will turn yellow

Soil: Dry to Medium

Height: 1.5-2.5 feet

Blooms: July to August
