Every year we try to get Blue-Eyed Grass and most years they are no-shows from the growers. If you order, please know there is a likelihood that these plants will not come and you will be refunded. We like to try because it's such a cute plant--fingers crossed!
Features: This charming prairie plant is not a grass at all, but a small member of the Iris family. Its flowers rise from clumps of long, narrow leaves and can range from light blue to blue-violet to white with small yellow centers (or eyes). They attract bees by provide nectar and pollen in May and June at a time before many prairie flowers begin to bloom. May slowly spread by rhizomes, forming beautiful colonies.

Soil: Medium to dry soil with loam, gravel or sand
Height: 0.5 - 1 foot
Blooms: May-June
