May also be called Northern Plains Blazing Star or Rocky Mountain Blazing Star
Features: Similar to Rough Blazing Star, but this one prefers less dry soil. The purple flowers grow in as individual blooms, which flower from the top down. Monarchs love it, as they do all Blazing Stars. It is also pollinated by native bees.
