Curly-styled wood sedge or Rosy sedge - Carex rosea
Features: Fine-leaved with a stature of 12’ tops, this carex provides a delicate structure to the woodland garden. Forms clumps and will slowly spread by seed. Stays slightly evergreen at the base; in the fall, some amount of red color is formed. In winter the top sections are straw-colored.

Soil: Very adaptable, wet to dry
