This is in a 4" pint pot this year, thus the lower price.

Features: Fertile fronds with light brown clusters of spores are very different from the infertile green fronds. It is a close relative of the Royal Fern, but much smaller. This family of ferns is among the oldest and have been found in fossils from the early dinosaur ages!

Light: Part sun to shade.

Soil: Medium,  moist as found in woodlands, needs leaf matter. Needs protection from wind.

Height: 2 - 3 feet

Blooms: Non-blooming (not technically a 'forb' but there aren't enough ferns for their own category)
