Calico Beardtongue - Penstemon calycosus

Also known as Smooth Beardtongue or Long-Sepaled Beardtongue.

Features: This variety is more shade-tolerant than its siblings. Flowers range from light pink to purple and a wide variety of bees are its preferred pollinators. Butterflies and hummingbirds are attracted to Smooth Beardtongue’s flowers to sip the nectar of this early-blooming member of the snapdragon family.
