Bottle Gentian - Gentiana andrewsii

This is in a round pint pot.

Features: No other plant like it. Unique blue flowers that are tubular and closed, accessed only by bumblebees who are strong enough to get into the flower (Check out this video!) and sometimes hummingbirds, whose long thin beak can pierce it.

Light: Full Sun to Part Shade

Soil: Medium, needs to stay moist, watch during drought

Height: 2 feet

Blooms: August-October
