Features:  This moisture-loving plant sends up stalks of white to light blue flowers from its basal rosette of leaves. It is visited by many species of bees, flies, butterflies and other insects. Makes a good rain garden plant and should definitely be kept moist in spring. You can see them in May at Wolf Road Prairie in Westchester.

Light: Prefers full or partial sun

Soil: Moist with much organic matter

Height:  1-2 feet.

Blooms: May to June
