Features: This plant's white flowers, growing in dense spikes, resemble the head of a turtle. It is visited by many species of bumblebees, butterflies, beetles and moths. It is the host for the rare Baltimore Checkerspot butterfly. Makes a good rain garden plant.

Light: Partial shade to full sun

Soil: Wet or at least moist

Height:  2-4 feet.

Blooms: late July, August, September
