Features: Adds a tropical flair with its palm-like structure. It adds interest to the landscape and is a high-value wildlife plant. Sedges are important food sources for herbivorous insects and birds appreciate the seeds.

Light: Part-shade to light shade (Prairie Moon Nursery also lists it as full sun, but make sure it’s in a wet spot).

Soil: Moist-Wet (good for the rain garden). Can take a drier soil if in shade.

Height: Can get up to 3’ in optimal conditions
