Features: A lovely option for shade. Interesting foliage, mature leaves carry the characteristic “water spot,” and it provides early nectar in the spring with its light pink blooms (color can vary between white and purple) Spreads readily (have seen it in lawn at the Morton Arboretum). Use as a groundcover, or intersperse with woodland sedges. Leaves edible
