Lead Plant - Amorpha canescens

Features: This prairie legume attracts many varieties of native bees and wasps and its foliage provides food for several caterpillars, grasshoppers, beetles, rabbits and deer. Given that, it may need protection when young, and will grow slowly, but is a wonderful long-lived prairie plant.
