Purple Joe Pye Weed - Eutrochium purpureum

Also known as Eupatorium purpureum and Sweet Joe Pye Weed

Features: This type of Joe Pye Weed can handle shade and makes a stunning woodland garden accent. Clusters of pink to pale purple flowers provide nectar for Monarchs, Swallowtail butterflies and many other insects.

Light: Partial to full shade

Soil: Moist to medium, with organic matter

Height: 4-7 feet

Blooms: July to September
